Pelican Soap Brand Delicious Cosme Bath - Grapefruit

Pelican Grapefruit Cosme Bath Salts is one of those salts that you use after a rough day at work or when you just worked out. It has quite a few interesting ingredients included in the bath that makes it sort of a WOW-factor. There is dead sea salt, Q10 coenzyme(antioxidants), Tang Xin extract essence and some magnesium salt. Mostly really about a nice, relaxing moisture-full bath.

The powder itself is very yellow that it's kind of scary but it smells really nice. I never knew it was grapefruit until reading more into it. I thought it was really citrus. More tart than sweet.

The powder turns the bath into a very bright sunny yellow colour which could almost be like a Sunny D drink. The scent isn't strong but you can smell it on your skin afterwards. The moisture? Yes! I feel it! My skin feels soooo soft afterwards! As for the relax, not really but maybe that's because I have a back ache right now.

Chocoable EpiPack for face

Chocoable EpiPack for face mask is currently a top seller in Japan and Taiwan. It is famous for it's luxurious rich chocolate smell and spa quality of a mask. This mask is a peel-off one that is good for removing dead skin, unclogging pores, and revealing clear and brighter skin. There are some that say it also removes facial hair but no, it doesn't.

Here is a picture of me actually using the mask on my face. As you can see I apply it all over but around the eyes and lips area. The layer I also put on is also not a thick layer and it still does a good job. The mask smells so good! It's almost comparable to slapping a huge amount of yummy rich chocolate pudding. Makes me want to lick it off!

This is the excess of the mask after peeling it off. It's easy to know when to take off the mask as it hardens when it's done so you can enjoy more without having to keep checking if it's done or not. But I have to say, it's really painful to peel it off. It's like waxing your entire face and slowly removing the strips. The results are AMAZING! Smooth and a slightly brighter face for me. The pain of the mask is totally worth it because you can see changes in your skin within 1-2 applications! Try it!

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku White Birch Powder

The third Lovelabo's Bihada Ichizoku bath powder from my collection! This is the White Birch Bath Powder with the face of Bihada Rumiko. This is Sara Bihada(the main character)'s beautiful mother. What a beauty, eh? The name of the packet is not the same but it's from the same brand and line.

The White Birch powder has a really nice earthy smell to it and the powder is so interesting with the brownish dirt coloured with some white specks on it.

As you can see, the powder turns the tub really muddy. I almost felt my tub was really dirty just by looking at it. It's somewhat has the onsen feel from Japan. The traditional ones.

The white specks "exploded" and made some of these cloudy "puddles" which made the bath look really cool but they quickly disappeared after I stepped in.

Overall, I wouldn't say this one was one of the more enjoyable ones compared to the previous ones. Not outstanding but it's not bad.

Lab LOVE CLOVER PonPon Cheek N

This is LOVE CLOVER from B&C Laboratories. It is a very cute cosmetic brand aimed for teens. I don't really know much about this brand but that it's really cute!

The product I decided to try from LOVE CLOVER was the PonPon Cheek N. It's a small blush container with a pompom puff applicator. The size of the container is about the size of a M.A.C blush. It has a twist-off logo lid with a sparkly plastic bottom. The colour I chose was No.5064 which is a shimmery orange blush.

As you can see on my hand that the product is all over the place. The blush isn't as pigmented as it seems in the container but the shimmer is there when you put it on. I wanted to get a nice orange-peach glow on my face but I ended up having to apply layer after layer of it. That didn't work so I had to squish-twist the puff into the product in order to get the end result.. resulting a messy thing on my hand and face. Then I thought to myself.. maybe it's the puff. And indeed it is the puff! For those who want to try this, I would advise using your normal blush brush.

As for the actual colour of the blush, I really liked it. It's almost true the site's colours but a little more orange. Overall, I guess it's not as pigmented because it's aimed for the younger age group. I probably wouldn't buy any of the cheek stuff from this brand anymore.

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku Original Mask

Finally! Lovelabo's Bihada Ichizoku Original Mask! I've been dying to try this out ever since I first discovered the brand! I bought the 1 pack with Limited Edition comic book. This mask is famous for it's whitening and moisture formula. It's also famous for it's price against it's quality. The quality is as high as an expensive brand but the price is drugstore wise. At least that's what most people have said about it. I was on an impression that it would be super! The above photo is of the back of the mask pack where it shows a bored lady watching tv who suddenly finds the urge to look pretty.

The mask is fairly normal with the cut out eyes and mouth part. However, it was really "wet" in texture. Somewhat oily that it feels kind of icky touching it. You can almost feel that you could squeeze an ounce of formula out from the mask! It has a very neutral small floral scent to that it isn't even noticeable. The instructions are to leave it on between 5-15 minutes. I did the entire 15 minutes routine while relaxing on my bed with a cup of tea. After the mask came off, there was still that oily moisture formula on my face and the mask but the mask was hardening on my face that told me it was done. My face felt very soft and my pores were smaller. It definitely felt really good! I would totally purchase this again!

This is the comic book that came with the mask to make it limited edition. Pretty much all in Japanese but with the very nice drawings.

The art is so pretty. Apparently I think it's about some girl trying to become pretty or something.... like a poor girl?

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku Noble Orchid Powder

Yet another one from Lovelabo's Bihada Ichizoku collection. This is the Noble Orchid Bath Powder with the face of Yutengi Saki. This is Sara Bihada(the main character)'s twin and older rival sister. To why they don't have the same looks and names is a mystery to me. Perhaps it is revealed in the comics they have.

The Nobel Orchid(as I call it) is a very nice purple powder that smells of really strong orchids. The bath is to help you relax, give moisture to your skin from the 15 natural beauty skin preservation. And there's some stuff about how the powder can relax your mind, body and feet.

The bath powder turns the entire tub a very nice purple. Slightly dark but it's a really pretty sight to look at. The smell is so wonderful too! I have to say, I really liked this one. Even more than the Rose one. I loved the smell and the colour of the tub. As for quality wise, the smell didn't last long but it left my skin feeling really soft. These powders are a hit-miss for me. I enjoy the pictures and the joy of baths so I don't know if I'd repurchase this one specifically even though I loved it so much.

Lavshuca Winter Make Collections

Lavshuca is under makeup line under the Kanebo brand. It's more of a romantic line with a "charm" and "dark" side. The faces of Lavshuca is a famous girl duo named PUFFY. The charm/dark sides are shown on each of the girls. If you scroll down, you will be able to see what I mean. I'm actually pretty new to this brand so I don't own much to say if it's good or not.

This is Lavshuca Winter Make Collection 01 and 02. These are one of the limited edition winter things you can get during Christmas. This for instance is the Winter 2007 editions. I believe it's their first lip/eye palette collection. Pretty snazzy, eh?

This palette is 01 Berry Crème Framboise. It has the nice eyeshadow trio that consists of a nice shimmery pearl, a shimmery baby pink and a shimmery night black. There is also a nice light pink lipstick and gloss to complete the whole look.

I have swatched the entire palette onto my hand as you would see from looking directly at the palette yourself. I actually like these colours a lot and how they compliment each other. It's nothing new but it's still classic. Extremely pretty when put on especially the shimmer of the shadows. The lipstick and gloss are ok. The applicator provided doesn't really help put on the lipstick. Very bummed about that.

This palette is 02 Bonbon Chocolat Classique. The eyeshadow trio includes the same pearl shimmer as 01, a pale yellow beige shimmer and a brown shimmer. The lipstick and gloss are of an orange/brown tint.

Classique indeed! Somewhat really natural nude shimmer colours that can be used every day. I actually have these colours but I felt that they looked really cute in the palette! The orange lipstick and gloss doesn't really look nice on me though.

Here are PUFFY with the 2 palettes on. Left is 01 and right is 02. Overall I really like 01 and I think everyone should have it if not. It just looks really nice and the effect is somewhat smokey yet not quite.

Hisamitsu Lifecella Eye Mask

Hisamitsu is one of those drugstore brands that have many different items under them from skincare to medicine. Basically anything that falls under the drugstore basic needs category. I don't know much about this brand but I do have some of their stuff lying around here and there. You might too?

This is the Hisamitsu Lifecella Eye Mask. Lifecella is one of their skincare brands that come out with a couple of fairly good masks. This is their eye mask and it's pretty popular too. This specific one I have here is just their normal one where it pretty much covers everything from elasticity of the skin, the moisture around the under eye, dark circles and a little of wrinkles. I say little because they have one specifically for wrinkles.

Ok, here is my eye before I use the mask. Very dark circles that I, myself, am very embarrassed about. I'm always looking for a better concealer and solution to hide them. And no, sadly, sleeping earlier is not an option for me. My profession has forbid me to!

As you probably have noticed before that the eye mask comes in shapes of comets or NIKE ticks. The application is pretty easy and the instructions have accompanying pictures with it on the back of the box. All you have to do is wash your face and gently clean the eye area. Remove the mask from the seal and try to stick it on nicely in one go. I kind of tried to move it after I placed it on for the first time so that's why it's so smudged.

As for the feeling of the mask.. it's a nice cooling effect for awhile then you hardly notice you have them on. There's no smell either... not that that would really matter, right? I have decided to show you a picture of the masks when they are used. On the box it says, the mask would turn slightly translucent to tell you that you're done. I didn't really see it but I did leave the mask on for 15 minutes(the right time).

Ah! The results are beautiful and rewarding! I really like using this mask. I honestly would want to use it almost every day but it's a mask and usually those are used when you have an important event the next day or twice every week on a daily basis. It works but it doesn't work for me(late night work). I say try it! Oh and it's cheap!

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku White Gold Rose Bath Salt

More Bihada Ichizoku from Lovelabo! This is one of their famous bath powders with the face of Sara Bihada(the main character of the whole collection). There are 3 other ones that I will review sometime soon. This is just a preview photo for you!

This particular bath powder packet with the face of Sara Bihada elegantly robed in a towels is the "Wild Roses". I call it the "White Gold Rose Powder" because it's to my best translation from the packet. It's probably not even right but it makes sense to me. Maybe you'll see? The purpose of this bath is to tighten with collagen and soften it like a baby bum. It will also help your skin refresh with the rose scent and wash the impurities away. Supposedly a very dreamy bath for you to feel royal in it.

As you can see in the above photo, the powder is fine white powder. The powder turns the water into a very "foggy" milky off-white bath. Probably not evident in the photo but just imagine a very watered down cup of milk. The scent is rather nice. Not just rose but a rose perfume. A very simple rose perfume used in soaps. It feels really clean and very attractive. As for the longevity of the scent... not that impressive. Just the same as the Rose Bath Powder from before. But I have to say the packaging is really nice and the bath was pleasant.

B&C Lab Fruit Lip Balms

B & C Laboratories is yet another drugstore cosmetic/skincare company making it big in Japan. They have quite a couple of good lines that are quite worth checking out. I would suggest Love Clover, anuenue and the variety cosme collections. I'm fairly new to this company but I see a lot of things I'd like to try some day.

B & C has come out with fruity lip balms in wonderful flavors like orange(mikan), peach(momo), apple(ringo) and strawberry(ichigo). There are available in these very cute pots featuring clear lip balm.

I ended up getting the orange, peach and apple ones. As you can see they all fit in my palm. They smell wonderful and are really nourishing to my lips. The scents are pretty distinctive.

Orange: Like the orange in an orange creamsicle.
Peach: Like a sweet starburst candy.
Apple: Like apple shampoo.

They work and they are cute! They also have matching hand creams which I will talk about later.
