美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku Makeup Remover

Here is another skincare product from Bihada Ichizoku. This is their makeup remover which is quite essential before using their scrub/facial washes and masks. It is encased in a pretty normal tube but what tempted me the most to try it out was the actual cover design. It is quite a horrible excuse to get something for that reason but Bihada Ichizoku just always seems to draw me back. I've used quite a few makeup removers over my time of constantly applying makeup daily. For both my face and eyes, I would use the oil types. The Bihada Ichizoku Makeup Remover would be my first remover of a cream base. It comes out pretty much like cream and one could even mistaken it as one because of how soft it feels. The fragrance is pretty light and soothing. Lots of lavender scent. As for actually removing the makeup, it is awesome! According to the instructions, the cream is to be rubbed in circular motions around the face but I've also tried to slowly wipe away my eye makeup as well. Surprisingly it works real well! The MJ mascara and KATE eyeliner is gone! And after rinsing it off, my face feels incredibly smooth! Just like a baby's bum! It's definitely worth a try!


Pros: Moisturizing, removes all makeup, smells great!

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku Lip Gloss

This is another release from Bihada Ichizoku along with the blush there came a Bihada Ichizoku Lip Gloss. It doesn't really look like an exciting release but I was in fan mode for the Bihada Ichizoku line that I had to have everything. It wasn't that expensive either. It is basically lip gloss within the line with a normal-but-semi-stiff brush. I'm really glad they didn't use plastic spatulas because I really don't like using those. Now there is another gloss that is clear and these ones did come out after that one. These ones are pretty much the same but with colour.



The first one I got was the Pearl Pink which is totally wrong to what it actually is. I think the labeling was bad but to me it should be called "Shimmery Pink". A very pretty cute berry translucent pink with a dash of shimmer to it. It goes on quite well with the brush and it gives a glossy watery-look. The scent of the actual gloss is VERY nice! Reminds me of a cherry popsicle.


The second one I got was the Pearl Pale Orange which suits is name entirely. It is semi-pearl that just looks flat-out nude to me. I was already shaking my head when I recieved it because I knew it wouldn't suit my skintone. It would be too pigmented and make me look weird. But actually to my surprise, it goes on thick(with colour) but really sheer. It doesn't even have a gold tint to it at all which is perfect. I observed wrongly! This one also has the lovely and yummy cherry popsicle scent. Texture wise these glosses are semi-sticky and they don't taste like anything either. I know I wouldn't be purchasing these again but I do think they make great stocking stuffers!

Pros: Cute colours, Cheap, Cherry Popsicle scent
Cons: Just a normal tube of lipgloss

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku Cheek Blush

Bihada Ichizoku is famous for their masks but the line has grown and introduced some cute blushes. The packaging of the blushes aren't exactly wow-worthy as they are only encased in a sleek clear plastic container similar to ones from MJ. They don't come with brushes which is quite alright considering the price. The texture of the blushes are quite silky smooth but they are quite loose once brushed. Quite a bit does go to waste because it just brushes and traps into the corner of the container. I have to be careful to not brush too hard so there is minimal waste.


The first one I got was Pearl Rose which is a pure rose with pearl finish to it. It does have some shimmer to it but only because of the pearl. Sometimes blushes come with just a top coat of pearl colour but this is not the case for this one. It is full of pearl. It is slightly more pigmented than the other one I have. I find this shade(because of the pearl) is very suitable for everyone. It's not too pink or too orange. I can be lightly tapped or brushed full-on. I really liked this one a lot.


The other colour I got was the Pearl Orange which is mediocre. I thought it would be vibrant(or as pigmented as the rose) with a pearl finish but it's pretty much a very light pale orange with pearl. The colour isn't so great because it's way too light for my skintone. I could see it better as an eyeshadow or highlighter.

Pros: Very smooth and silky, Pearl Rose is worth a try
Cons: No brush, blush is quite loose(waste)

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku White Birch Powder

The third Lovelabo's Bihada Ichizoku bath powder from my collection! This is the White Birch Bath Powder with the face of Bihada Rumiko. This is Sara Bihada(the main character)'s beautiful mother. What a beauty, eh? The name of the packet is not the same but it's from the same brand and line.


The White Birch powder has a really nice earthy smell to it and the powder is so interesting with the brownish dirt coloured with some white specks on it.


As you can see, the powder turns the tub really muddy. I almost felt my tub was really dirty just by looking at it. It's somewhat has the onsen feel from Japan. The traditional ones.

The white specks "exploded" and made some of these cloudy "puddles" which made the bath look really cool but they quickly disappeared after I stepped in.

Overall, I wouldn't say this one was one of the more enjoyable ones compared to the previous ones. Not outstanding but it's not bad.

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku Original Mask

Finally! Lovelabo's Bihada Ichizoku Original Mask! I've been dying to try this out ever since I first discovered the brand! I bought the 1 pack with Limited Edition comic book. This mask is famous for it's whitening and moisture formula. It's also famous for it's price against it's quality. The quality is as high as an expensive brand but the price is drugstore wise. At least that's what most people have said about it. I was on an impression that it would be super! The above photo is of the back of the mask pack where it shows a bored lady watching tv who suddenly finds the urge to look pretty.


The mask is fairly normal with the cut out eyes and mouth part. However, it was really "wet" in texture. Somewhat oily that it feels kind of icky touching it. You can almost feel that you could squeeze an ounce of formula out from the mask! It has a very neutral small floral scent to that it isn't even noticeable. The instructions are to leave it on between 5-15 minutes. I did the entire 15 minutes routine while relaxing on my bed with a cup of tea. After the mask came off, there was still that oily moisture formula on my face and the mask but the mask was hardening on my face that told me it was done. My face felt very soft and my pores were smaller. It definitely felt really good! I would totally purchase this again!


This is the comic book that came with the mask to make it limited edition. Pretty much all in Japanese but with the very nice drawings.


The art is so pretty. Apparently I think it's about some girl trying to become pretty or something.... like a poor girl?

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku Noble Orchid Powder

Yet another one from Lovelabo's Bihada Ichizoku collection. This is the Noble Orchid Bath Powder with the face of Yutengi Saki. This is Sara Bihada(the main character)'s twin and older rival sister. To why they don't have the same looks and names is a mystery to me. Perhaps it is revealed in the comics they have.


The Nobel Orchid(as I call it) is a very nice purple powder that smells of really strong orchids. The bath is to help you relax, give moisture to your skin from the 15 natural beauty skin preservation. And there's some stuff about how the powder can relax your mind, body and feet.


The bath powder turns the entire tub a very nice purple. Slightly dark but it's a really pretty sight to look at. The smell is so wonderful too! I have to say, I really liked this one. Even more than the Rose one. I loved the smell and the colour of the tub. As for quality wise, the smell didn't last long but it left my skin feeling really soft. These powders are a hit-miss for me. I enjoy the pictures and the joy of baths so I don't know if I'd repurchase this one specifically even though I loved it so much.

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku White Gold Rose Bath Salt

More Bihada Ichizoku from Lovelabo! This is one of their famous bath powders with the face of Sara Bihada(the main character of the whole collection). There are 3 other ones that I will review sometime soon. This is just a preview photo for you!


This particular bath powder packet with the face of Sara Bihada elegantly robed in a towels is the "Wild Roses". I call it the "White Gold Rose Powder" because it's to my best translation from the packet. It's probably not even right but it makes sense to me. Maybe you'll see? The purpose of this bath is to tighten with collagen and soften it like a baby bum. It will also help your skin refresh with the rose scent and wash the impurities away. Supposedly a very dreamy bath for you to feel royal in it.


As you can see in the above photo, the powder is fine white powder. The powder turns the water into a very "foggy" milky off-white bath. Probably not evident in the photo but just imagine a very watered down cup of milk. The scent is rather nice. Not just rose but a rose perfume. A very simple rose perfume used in soaps. It feels really clean and very attractive. As for the longevity of the scent... not that impressive. Just the same as the Rose Bath Powder from before. But I have to say the packaging is really nice and the bath was pleasant.

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku Rose Bath Salt

The Rose Bath Powder from Bihada Ichizoku is a pink-purple powder that smells like a fresh bouquet of roses. It probably almost resembles the smell of your grandmother's handkerchief's but the good ones that she keeps pressed and in the drawers with her precious perfumes. The container is filled with 400g of powder that have instructions of 25g per 200L tub. So you could use it for about 16 times. The purpose of the bath is for a very luxurious spa(smell) experience that can keep your body moisturized.


As you can see in the above picture, there is conveniently a measuring cup as part of the cap. I don't really follow what it says. How thoughtful of the makers! The powder itself is nothing special but it turns the tub a very nice pink-purple colour. Within seconds of releasing the powder into the water, the entire bathroom smelt SO good! However, it doesn't really smell much after you get into the tub and out. So the lasting part of this product ain't so good but I'm a bath person so I like this stuff either way. The packaging again is pretty cute!

美肌一族 Bihada Ichizoku Peeling Gel Scrub

Bihada Ichizoku(美肌一族)is currently a VERY popular drugstore brand in Japan. It is known for it's best selling masks and beautiful Romantic design. The whole Bihada Ichizoku line is underneath a major brand known as LoveLabo. The name Bihada Ichizoku means "Beautiful Skin Family" which is the aim for the different masks for different skin types. The art is of the classical romance "novels" back when the comics were IN in Japan.


This is the Peeling Gel Scrub from the brand. It's not as popular as the masks but it's really one of those things one must try in order to see if it works. It comes in a 100g tube with a clear gel that smells of floor detergent (the lemon-lime smell). The sticker/logo on the tube has the signature font and Miss Sara Bihada (the main girl of the whole line) with a little description next to her which I suspect says that she wants to help you fight the dirt on your face. For justice of clean skin!


The Gel Scrub looks really cheap in the exterior except for the sticker. I really don't like the smell but the quality of the product is superb! It really works well in less than a few scrubs. The size of a grape is probably enough for the whole face and within a few circular motions around the face you will start to see the results of dead/rough skin rubbing off. What you are left with is nice baby-bum soft skin. I'm generally impressed by this scrub and brand. I'm so in love with the packaging and designs. I want to try their masks too!
